We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Charge Back Executive

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Duties / Responsibilities

  • Lead the sub-team that is responsible for the resolution of Customer issues
  • A thorough understanding of the card brand dispute management rules, response codes, and recommended response data. As well as an advanced knowledge of the chargeback funding process.
  • Daily management of our dispute management process on behalf of our merchants and acquirers across the continent
  • Provide email and phone support to acquirers and merchants for any dispute-related issues
  • Manage the refunds process end-to-end and ensure all refunds are initiated and completed promptly
  • Provide email and phone support to merchants for any refund-related issues
  • Proactively spot glitches or bugs observed with Opay’s internal disputes or refunds tool and work with relevant product/Engineering teams to ensure they are resolved as quickly and possible
  • Daily reconciliation of debits that arise from the chargebacks process and escalation to acquirers where discrepancies arise
  • Regularly compile and share insights and trends gleaned during the dispute management and refunds process
  • Experience escalating chargebacks through re-presentment, arbitration, and any other dispute resolution classifications
  • Working knowledge of banking operations, fraudulent investigations, and regulations related to disputes.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of B.Sc / HND in related courses
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience in cards/mobile/payment finance, fully integrated into all aspects of the settlement, Chargebacks, Arbitration, and daily reconciliation process
  • Detailed understanding of the operational aspects of payment cards, Payment Gateway, international settlement, mobile payments, and the banking industry
  • Previous experience within a Dispute, Fintech, or Banking Office environment

Job Title: Risk Control Strategy Specialist

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Lead the formulation and maintenance of risk review strategies and credit granting strategies
  • Drive decision-making with quantitative analysis methods, and establish a differentiated risk management system based on customer profits and risks through the monitoring of indicators throughout the process and customer portrait analysis;
  • Take the lead in analyzing and cooperating with the model team to promote the process optimization of strategies and the in-depth mining of analysis;
  • Monitor government regulatory policies, market changes, and product iterations, and make targeted recommendations in a timely manner.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or above, in Statistics, Finance, and Economics are preferred;
  • 5 years or more experience in strategy formulation or participation in the formulation of Internet financial products;
  • Skilled use of statistical analysis software such as SAS or Python is preferred;
  • Good logical thinking ability, writing and language expression ability, strong communication and coordination ability;
  • Proficiency in using Excel, PPT, and other office software
  • Strong numerical analysis ability, must know programming code of R or Python. In the Internet finance or bank or Party B has done risk control-related analysis, models, and strategic positions for more than 2 years are preferred.

Job Title: User Research Specialist (Lending Product)

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Duties / Responsibilities

  • Responsible for User Research of C-end products, in-depth insight into products, and product experience analysis, including but not limited to user portraits, functional analysis, satisfaction monitoring, purchase decision analysis, selling point testing, etc.;
  • Starting from the consumer journey, Insight into consumer needs and psychology, continuously updating target Group Profiles and needs, and cooperating with quantitative and qualitative methods to solve user analysis problems related to products and growth;
  • Responsible for market environment (competitors, customers, users) information collection, research, and output market analysis report to ensure product competitiveness;
  • Independently responsible for project research and output research reports, put forward landing suggestions, and providing user-side analysis support for the company’s business innovation, strategy, and product iteration.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree / HND qualification.
  • 3 – 5 years of relevant working experience focusing on Market and User Research, experience in the Internet industry is preferred.
  • Master a variety of User Research and Data Analysis methods, such as questionnaires, interviews, Focus Groups, usability testing, SPSS, etc., proficient in relevant theories in the field of User Research, and have a strong ability to expand research resources and promote research coordination.
  • Love User Research.
