The Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu has also agreed for the establishment of Community Policing in the country, stressing that if put in place, it will help nip in the bud, the insecurity challenges in Nigeria.
According to Federal Government at least, 50 volunteers will be recruited from each of the 774 local government areas in the country.

Remember that the Community Policing recruitment was scheduled for August last year, but did not take place due to some reasons.

It is important that candidates satisfy every level of the Policing stages, which include registration, physical, medical and aptitude test screening examination.
