It is important to know that this is a vital criterion for all who sat for the 2017/2018 Joint Admission and Matriculation Board examination (2017 JAMB Exams ). This is the new system that JAMB will use to assess all candidates’ qualifications to be eligible and granted admission status in all Nigerian tertiary institutions.
Kindly follow this instruction as it will keep you in line on how to register, login and check your admission status for the academic session on the JAMB CAPS portal.

JAMB CAPS is simply a Central Admission Processing System. This CAPS was launched in 2017 by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, which it’s primary aim is to
Note- If you click on ACCEPT OF OFFER OF ADMISSION, it simply means your admission will be concluded but if you click on REJECT THE OFFER OF ADMISSION, your details would be on the list for interested institutions (other tertiary institutions) to give you admission.
To register for the JAMB CAPS, visit the registration portal at https://caps.jamb.gov.ng and follow the instructions on the site. Ensure you put in all necessary requirements and complete the registration form.
Login to your JAMB portal and click on CAPS to check your admission status
JAMB CAPS program will aid only qualified students to gain admission into tertiary institutions of their choice and put to stop the time of giving unqualified students admission while the qualified, goes home.

DO I HAVE TO REGISTER FOR JAMB CAPS WHEN I CAN LOGIN TO JAMB PORTAL WITH MY EMAIL AND PASSWORD SUCCESSFULY.SECONDLY I HAVE TRY TO LOGIN DIRECTLY TO JAMB CAPS WITH MY PASSWORD AND EMAIL WITHOUT GOING THROUGH THE JAMB PORTAL AND THEY KEEP ON TELLING ME INVALID CREDENTAILS.WHAT CAN I DO?
No you don't need to register again for the JAMB CAPS, all you need to do is login to your JAMB profile and click on JAMB CAPS at the left hand side of the browser. Then click on the ADMISSION STATUS.

It depends on the device you are using. If you are using a mobile device. So use computer, laptops to access it

The email address and password you used during the purchase of your JAMB form...
Login to your JAMB profile, at the left top of your PC, click on CAPS, click on check admission status.

When I purchase jamb form, they didn't give me anything like email or password, what should I do
hello, pls when i logged into my jamb profile i could not access caps despite following the steps. i was told to click on the four bar on the top right corner , then click admission and i will see caps .but there is nothing like that .pls help.
You are missing a step if your login your JAMB profile (Please use a laptop or computer), by the left hand side of the screen, your will see CAPS. We have updated this post with a picture that will guide you on how to go about it. Once you have tried it, send us a feedback. Thanks
I tried it with a computer exactly d way u did but there is no admissions to click on just services and the rest.

I wrote jamb in 2017, but the last exam year I saw on the caps is 2016 and that is not working..
