Job Description

  • We are looking for a result oriented and pragmatic Finance Business Partner to join our team! As a Finance Business Partner, you will report to the Chief Finance Officer and will be responsible for developing and maintaining financial and accounting procedures that support the performance of our various business divisions.

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between Finance and other units on ad-hoc projects.
  • Supervises and coaches junior staff including hiring, discipline, and performance appraisal.
  • Advise on the delivery of costs effective and efficient accounting and financial systems, policies and processes that meet the current and future business requirements.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of best financial practices.
  • Contributing to ad hoc financial projects as required as part of the overall finance function.
  • Creates a positive and vibrant image of the Finance team to the rest of the organization.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of Second-Class Upper Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Finance.
  • Strong financial modelling and Excel / PowerPoint skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly IT literate, comfortable operating and learning new systems.

Job Description

  • We are hiring a talented Risk Analyst Professional to join our Risk Management Team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and analysing the areas of potential risk threatening the success of CDL product(s), predicting change and future trends, as well as forecasting costs.
  • You must be able to communicate risk policies and processes to the organization while providing hands – on development of risk models involving markets, credit, and operational risk, assures controls are operating effectively and provide research and analytical support.

Job Roles/ Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing and overall risk management processes for the organization which includes and analyses of the financial impact of risk on the company per product.
  • Partnering with product team to design products, pilot programs and launch of new products or features for existing products.
  • Establishing the level of risk, the organization is willing to take per product while implementing threshold in regards portfolio at risk (PAR).
  • Conduct research to assess, analyst and anticipate credit risk trend
  • Calculate risk involved in transactions and product proposals and formulate contingency plans.
  • Recommend improvement methods or precautionary for existing or emerging credit risk on each product.
  • Monitor the growth and activity of the portfolio based on specified risk levels. Analyzing current risk and identifying potential risk that are affecting product
  • Reviewing any new major contract, products, or internal business proposal
  • Risk Reporting tailored to the relevant audience (BOARD PACK, MPRs, WEEKLY and BI-ANNUAL product reports).
  • Support and build relationships with different business units for the growth of the organization.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • B.Sc / HND in related field.
  • One (1) to five (5) years of experience as an analyst in a similar company or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint, SQL, PowerBi, Navision.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet daily deadlines for projects

  • You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build good quality loan portfolio, roll out products, manage relationships and stakeholders (Internal & External) and generate good revenue for CDL.

Job Roles/ Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing and overall risk management processes for the organization which includes and analyses of the financial impact of risk on the company per product
  • Monitor and evaluate performance indicators of the portfolio and study the trends for business growth, product acceptance, product cycle stage, and risk levels
  • Collaborate in the development of policy and process guidelines for new products or commercial initiatives
  • Lead the design and implementation of Credit, Collection and fraud scoring tools
  • Performing ad-hoc analytics to dig into and research credit trends
  • Evaluating how changes in the macroeconomic environment (including competitor trends) impact the performance of credit portfolios
  • Creating Outside-In views of consumer credit including partnerships with Credit Bureaus for Credit information behaviour
  • Portfolio performance tracking and analysis
  • Review Risk reports developed by Risk analyst, analyze and advise Management on Risk perceptions and recommended options to mitigate risks
  • Analyze the Risk Management Reports (Net flow / trend analysis, vintage analysis, first payment defaults, and was/is analysis)
  • Conduct on-going review and analysis of the credit portfolio to determine delinquency patterns and recommend appropriate action
  • Provide analysis and risk recommendations through customer profiling and Segmentation.
  • Responsible for all customer risk-based segment group research including extracting customer data and analyzing profiles to determine segment requirements.
  • Responsible for analysis of portfolio trends, concerning credit score cut-offs, loss trends, portfolio dynamics, and scoring criteria.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Investment or a related field preferred.
  • Proven work experience as a Portfolio Manager or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of sales strategies and risk management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellence in communicating complex technical topics to both technical and C-level audiences in compelling, innovative, and informative ways while working with cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams.
  • Strong content and messaging skills including building pitch decks, executive briefing materials, blog creation, public speaking, and other forms of content creation and delivery.
