NIMC Enrolment Registration for Foreign Diplomats to Obtain NIN is on going

NIN Enrolment Registration for Foreign Diplomats Commences – The Federal Government of Nigeria has started the registration process for Foreign Diplomats in Nigeria. The enrollments have started in all centres for all Nigeria Foreign Diplomats to register.

All concerned persons are expected to use the steps and guidelines to apply.

From the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), it has started the enrolment of NIN for foreign diplomats in Nigeria.

According to the statement issued by NIMC,“The Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Ali Ibrahim (Pantami) in his bid to ensure seamless enrolment of all diplomats in the country for the purpose of the ongoing NIN-SIM linkage and other need, directed the setting up of the enrolment center at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abuja,” the agency said.

The enrolment of diplomats started on Monday, 18th January 2021.

NIMC assured Nigerians that it would ensure the enrolment of all Nigerians and legal residents into the National Identity Database.

All Nigeria Foreign Diplomats should try as much as they could to register for NIN in any NIMC.

Apart from the fact that you can use your NIN to link your Phone Numbers, you can as well use your NIN for other vital things in the country and outside. NIN serves as an identity. It is needed in bank for account opening and for cheque withdrawal.
