NASIMS Reveals New Stipend Payment Date

Get the latest update on the payment of outstanding stipends for Npower Batch C1 and C2 beneficiaries. The National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) has announced that the next round of stipend payments will begin between this week and next week. The technical team responsible for the payments is working diligently to ensure that all outstanding stipends are paid before the end of June 2023.

To receive your stipend, NASIMS advises beneficiaries, especially the new Batch C2 beneficiaries, to validate their information through the Npower Validation Link at validation.nasims.ng before the payment process starts.

Clarification on Payment Concerns

Nasims has clarified that despite some states dissolving their State Executive Council (SEC) in preparation for the transition of power, the Federal Executive Council (FEC) remains intact. This means that the key members of the FEC, including Honourable Minister Sadiya Umar Farouq, are still officially functional until further notice. As a result, Nasims assures beneficiaries that backlog payments to eligible individuals will continue without interruption.

Npower stipend payment news, Npower management has paid 55256 Npower beneficiaries via Npower Validation Link. In line with that, Npower Batch C Stream 2 applicants are advised to please validate their accounts because unverified accounts would be omitted.

Now, let’s discuss the three important steps that Npower beneficiaries should take if they are expecting outstanding stipends:

  1. Check Your Bank Account:

It may come as a surprise, but some beneficiaries have already received their outstanding stipend payments without receiving a credit alert from their banks. Therefore, it is crucial to check your bank account balance. You might be pleasantly surprised to find that your outstanding stipend has been deposited into your account, even if you didn’t receive a notification from your bank. CLICK HERE

  1. Ensure Successful Submission of the Npower Validation Form:

If you are expecting outstanding stipends, it is vital to confirm that you have filled out and successfully submitted the Npower Validation Form. Only those beneficiaries who are owed outstanding stipends for the months of September, October, and November 2022 (Batch C1) and October, November, and December 2022 (Batch C2) will receive payments after completing the validation process. To verify if you have successfully submitted the form, visit the following website: https://validation.nasims.ng/validate. If you have submitted the form successfully, you will receive a notification stating that you can no longer respond to the form because you have already done so.

  1. Exercise Patience and Avoid Worry:

Lastly, it is crucial for all beneficiaries to remain patient throughout the payment process. Efforts are being made to ensure that the outstanding stipends for 2022 are cleared within this month. Furthermore, the stipend payments for January, February, March, April, and May 2023 are expected to commence next month. Therefore, it is essential to avoid unnecessary worry and trust that the payment process is being actively addressed.

Fuel Subsidy Removal and Npower Programme the Nexus

  1. Empowering Entrepreneurship: The GEEP program should be expanded and restructured to offer comprehensive training and support to individuals and small businesses. By equipping them with skills in business management, financial planning, marketing, and facilitating access to finance, these programs can foster the development of alternative income sources.
  2. Enhancing Vocational and Technical Training: Leveraging the Npower program, the government can provide vocational and technical training to enable individuals to acquire new skills or enhance existing ones.
  3. Strengthening Social Protection Programs: Through cash transfers, National Home-Grown School Feeding Program (NHGSFP) food subsidies, and healthcare services, vulnerable groups like women, youth, and the elderly can receive targeted support, reducing the adverse impacts of subsidy removal.
