We are recruiting to fill the position below:

(1)Job Title: Head of Sales & Business Intelligence

Location: Cairo, Egypt (CAF Headquaters)

Job Description

  • You believe you have the educational background and professional experience to elevate the organization to the highest international standards? CAF is looking to recruit a Head of Sales & Business Intelligence.

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Responsible for setting up sponsorships and media sales strategies.
  • Oversee and develop sponsorship sales decks.
  • Develop new commercial & media assets.
  • Monitor CAF sponsorship agreements to ensure obligations are met and commitments are honored.
  • Create short term vs long term sales targets pipeline.
  • Oversee marketing intelligence and data Analysis reports.
  • Develop a sales reporting system to align with the commercial Director.
  • Strengthen current partner’s relationship and oversee contracts renewals.
  • Identify new industries and partners to join CAF.
  • Overall coordination of sponsorships and media related matters with CAF legal department.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Sports Management, or similar.
  • 10+ years’ experience in in sports media and sponsorships with proven strategic & commercial skills and track records of reaching & exceeding targets.
  • Experience in commercial and media rights documents drafting.
  • Extensive best practices in sport business models and revenue generation in media, sponsorships, digital, pay-TV and OTT platforms.
  • Fluent in English and/or French language both written and spoken; command of any of the other CAF official languages (English, French or Arabic) is a plus.
  • Negotiation skills with strategic sense in an international environment
  • Sales oriented; results driven.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office and other modern IT tools.

 (2)Job Title: Club Licensing Online Platform (CLOP) Officer

Location: Cairo, Egypt (CAF Headquarters)

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Support the Managers and Head of Department with all aspects of the CAF Club Licensing system and Stadium Licensing on the CLOP and contribute to the department’s programme and activities.
  • Provide administrative support to the Department.
  • Help CAF member associations and clubs to implement the CLOP.
  • Help in organizing and running club licensing and CLOP education activities.
  • Compile and update the club licensing, stadiums, leagues, and clubs’ database and historical statistics on CLOP.
  • Manage CLOP messenger, reporting and analysis tools.
  • Manage the CLOP, assist in the preparation and implementation of the CLOP and provide 1st level support and assistance to all the platform users.
  • Act as the focal point for CLOP technical and support related matters.
  • Provide technical support and training on CLOP to users.
  • Create technical documentation such as manuals and procedure books for CLOP.
  • Coordinate with the system provider on CLOP related matters and issues.
  • Develop and maintain backup plans to ensure that CLOP data is safe from loss or damage.
  • Monitor CLOP system performance and workflow, maintain licences and upgrade schedules.
  • Gather and register Coaches license copies for the Clubs participating in CAF Interclub competitions.
  • Set up and manage the Spectators and Coaches approval process for all CAF Competitions on CAF CMS.
  • Handle general administrative and organizational tasks of the department, manage Department calendars and meetings, office administration (including the scheduling of meetings and preparation of relevant documentation).
  • Assist in the organization, scheduling and coordination of the Department activities, such as courses, seminars, workshops and virtual meetings: planning, correspondence and the activity itself.
  • Keep track and record of documents submitted by the Member Associations and Clubs related to club licensing, coaching licenses, stadiums, and other Department projects.
  • Assist with managing the department mailbox and prioritizing for action / info / follow-up while ensuring information flow in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Implement and maintain office operations/administrative systems and procedures.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as instructed by direct line managers.
  • Contribute to any project run by the Technical Football Division.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent is a must.
  • Proven experience as IT Systems coordinator or similar role.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues.
  • Fluent in English and/or French language both written and spoken is a must; command of any other CAF language (English, French & Arabic) language is an advantage.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office and other modern IT tools.
  • Experience in IT systems management and help desk support is appreciated.
  • Some level of understanding of Club Licensing workflow and procedures.
  • Interest in football is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge on Competition Management Systems (CMS) operation.

(3)Job Title: Professional Football Manager

Location: Cairo, Egypt (CAF Headquarters)

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Department with all aspects of the CAF Club Licensing system, Stadium Licensing, and League Development, and contributing to the department’s programme and activities.
  • Provide administrative support to the Department direct line manager.
  • Help CAF member associations as licensors to implement the CAF club licensing system at national level, ensure regular communication and exchanges within the club licensing network.
  • Help organizing and running the club licensing education activities.
  • Compile and update the club licensing, stadiums, leagues and clubs’ database and historical statistics.
  • Revise the national club licensing regulations submitted by the member associations.
  • Assist in the follow-up on club licensing compliance audits.
  • Supervise the core club licensing process and the application of club licensing criteria, coordinate activities internally and with external partners and stakeholders.
  • Manage the implementation of the club licensing system including reporting and analysis.
  • Administer the CAF Club Licensing Online Platform (CLOP), assisting in the preparation and implementation of the CLOP and provide support and assistance to the users.
  • Gather and register the Coaches license copies for the Clubs participating in CAF Interclub competitions.
  • Set up and manage the Spectators and Coaches approval process for all CAF Competitions on CAF CMS.
  • Conduct stadium match day monitoring for CAF matches through the available streaming platform and submit report to Head of Department.

  • Correspond with other CAF Divisions and Departments to obtain necessary information on Department inter-related activities such as: expenses, flights, arrangement of services, requests, payments, and other.
  • Coordinate and assist in travel-related requests, including flights, ground travel, accommodations, visas, vaccinations/medical requirements for travel, agendas and itineraries for the department instructors and inspectors on CAF missions.
  • Provide general administrative support such as procurement processes, invoices and expenses management, contract management, and other.
  • Type, compile and prepare letters and circulars, record meeting minutes and prepare mission reports.
  • Keep track and record of documents submitted by the Member Associations and Clubs related to club licensing, coaching licenses, stadiums, and other Department projects.
  • Keep track and records in organized manner of all the Department developed activities and the related costs.

  • Experience in a financial, legal, infrastructure, sporting, or other club licensing pillar.
  • Understanding of football law and regulations.
  • Proficient in Football administration and management with record in competitions and development.
  • Fluent in English and/or French language both written and spoken is a must; command of any other CAF language (English, French & Arabic) language is an advantage.
  • Ability to develop ideas for football professionalization projects.
  • Efficient use of MS-products (word, excel, ppt, visio).
  • Excellent organizational/administrative skills and attention to detail.
