The UK government recently published a list of job roles welcoming applications from qualified Nigerians. These positions, spanning various sectors, can pave the way for skilled worker visas for potential immigrants.
The UK’s freshly updated jobs list, sourced directly from the government’s official website, includes 38 distinct occupations. Their statement reads:
“Review the jobs on our shortage occupations list for each UK region. If your profession appears here, you can earn 80% of the usual salary for that job to be eligible for a Skilled Worker visa. Note that the yearly salaries provided are based on a 37.5-hour week. Adjustments will be made for different work schedules based on the hours stated by your hiring firm.”
