NITDA Scholarship 2020/2021 – Apply for NITDA TIESS Programme

NITDA TIESS Scholarships – Are you a creative/innovative Nigerian who is at the early stage of your business?  Do you want to build your technical skills, get experience working with coorporates or join an incubation hub? The apply for the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) scholarship.

The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), is calling on eligible Nigerians to apply for its technology innovation and entrepreneurship scheme, a capacity building programme for Hub managers, young Nigerians and innovative start-ups to spur digital job creation and economic growth.

NITDA TIESS Scholarship/Programme 2020 Category to apply

  • Hubs Up Scaling: The programme is designed to ensure that Hub Managers have the required skills sets to support digital start-ups and build innovation ecosystems in their localities
  • Technical Capacity Building: This programme is designed to provide start-ups the opportunity to work with established Hubs. It will provide opportunities for capacity building, mentorship and developing a tech entrepreneurship skills.
  • Internship Programme: This is a programme designed to support idea-stage start-ups to scale up from ideas to market.
  • Incubation Programme: This component involves equipping Nigerian youths with the technological and entrepreneurial skills required to either establish innovative companies or secure decent work in existing enterprises.

  1. Passport
  2. CAC Registration Number
  3. CAC Certificate
  4. TCC Certificate

Selection Criteria: The Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Support Scheme is strictly based on merit and the selection is equally distributed among the 36 Stares and FCT

How to apply/Register for NITDA TIESS Scholarships 2020/2021


All eligible candidates that are interested should log on to the support scheme portal https://scholarship.nitda.gov.ng/tiess to register and submit all relevant documents.

Please note that the registration period is six (6) weeks from the date of this publication (24-Aug-2020).

NOTE: Only successful candidates will be invited for the oral interview.
