How to Write the MTN FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP ESSAY- www.foundation.mtnonline.com

Steps in writing essay for MTN foundation scholarship- After been shortlisted for the next phase of the MTN foundation scholarship, you will be required to write an essay on a particular topic which will be selected by the organizers of the MTN foundation scholarship.

We have designed this post to assist you on how to successfully write the essay with ease so as to be shortlisted in the MTN foundation scholarship finally. In this note, we advise you read this article carefully.

Below are the steps and guidelines on how to write the MTN scholarship essay. Am sure if you follow these instructions provided in this article, you would be shortlisted by MTN.

Instruction one: Have a good understanding of the topic you are asked to write on

Understanding the topic of the MTN foundation scholarship essay will help you to know what they want you to do. For example the last easy was “write an essay on the pros and cons of telecommunication as a catalyst for economic development in Nigeria”. The essay should not be above 180 word, you have to first understand the topic itself, if the definition of communication, important of communication in different sectors in Nigerian economy, limitations of communication and how it effects the Nigerian economy.

Instruction two: Begin the body of the essay

Remember that this essay should not be more than 180 words so do not include unnecessary stories about the essay topic. Just go straight to the point that backs up your point. Keep your essay to be KISS (Keep It Short and Simple) and concise as possible.

Instruction three:  A simple, wonderful, superb etc conclusion will increase your chance of been shortlisted.

Most at times, candidates who were shortlisted have a very nice and workable conclusion. The reader sometimes after reading 3 -4 lines of your essay, will jump over to the conclusion. The conclusion has a significant role to play in the MTN foundation scholarship selection of applicants.

Instruction four: Early submission of essay

Some applicants have a very nice essay work that will aid him the scholarship, because of not being on time. It’s not all about writing a nice essay, but submission matters. Some applicants like die minute submission. So the earlier the better

    • The next phase of the scheme/programme is included in the message sent to you via your Email.
      So go through the email.
