Job Title: Machine Specialist – Packaging

Description

  • Maintain, repair and optimize plant and associate devices
  • Provide specialist technical support
  • Optimize team performance
  • Maintain safe, healthy and risk free working environment
  • Work in teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical/Industrial Engineering with Diploma in Packaging (IBD) and/or additional business qualification

Experience

  • Minimum 5-6 years’ experience in Packaging line operations management or related field at a senior line management position in a brewery or FMCG with a minimum of 2 years in a management role
  • Understanding of process control within a brewing/process environment
  • Good understanding of the principles and practices of Manufacturing Excellence
  • Maintenance Planner/Controller’s experience and Membership of relevant professional bodies will be an added advantage

Job Title: Brewing Engineer

Duties

  • Provide Technical Expertise
  • Optimise Utilities and Production Processes
  • Manage Planned Maintenance System Integrity And Optimal usage
  • Facilitate Problem Solving And Decision Making
  • Manage Occupational Health, Safety, Risk And Environment
  • Manage Human Resources
  • Model the Voyager Plant Optimisation (VPO) principles and practices, and lead the change process
  • Ensure effective VPO compliance, and evaluate WCM maturity and effectiveness using the Global Evaluation of Manufacturing (GEM)

Requirements

  • Minimum of HND/BEng in Mechanical, Electrical or Process Engineering with Diploma in Brewing (IBD) and/or additional business qualification.
  • Minimum of 5 – 6 years’ Experience managing technical aspects of production within a brewery.
  • Must be a Register Engineer
  • Work experience that demonstrate high-level familiarity with mechanical and electrical assets
  • Maintenance Planner/Controller’s experience will be an added advantage.

Key competencies and attributes

  • Prior experience in senior management position, within the FMCG environment
  • Knowledge of WCM MEP strategies and initiatives
  • Familiarity with maintenance systems ( eg. COSWIN )
  • Good understanding of Brewing and Utilities operational processes and technologies
  • Proven leadership skills

Description

Qualifications

  • Minimum of B.Sc./HND in Electrical Engineering

Experience

  • 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a FMCG environment

Description

Media

  • Develop and own Portfolio Media Strategy & Media Principles
  • Lead Media Planning; manage & optimize media activity grid from a portfolio perspective
  • Lead Media Agency management & relationship
  • Financial accountability for total Media Budget & optimization
  • Approver of media briefs to agency
  • Approve any changes/revisions to brand media and comms activities

Digital

  • Develop digital brand strategies for local brands
  • Optimize digital communication for BUs for local brands
  • Step up digital creativity to improve impact
  • Roll out capability building (this responsibility sits at the Zone)
  • Implement harmonized ways of working

Experiential events

  • Develop major events strategy / model, national events plan, calendar, together with brands

  • Develop event & brand experience activation toolkits (by type, by size) and lead the communication and training of same

Description

  • Optimise Process Performance By Conducting Administration, Optimising Raw Material Usage, Supporting Continuous Improvement & Projects and Planning Production Effectively.

  • Implement Technical Project
  • Manage Human Resources by developing employees; ensuring a healthy industrial climate; managing and applying people processes, managing own performance and that of direct reports etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical/Electronic Engineering with Diploma in Packaging (IBD) and/or additional business qualification

Experience
