Rivers state Government to Recruit 7,000 Persons into the Rivers State Civil Service commission 2018/2019:  In the quest to drastically  reduce the rate  of unemployed of graduates and non-graduate youths in the state, the state governor, Chief (Barr.) Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has announced that 7,000 qualified persons would be employed into the Rivers State Civil Service.

 

The recruitment will constitute 70% of youths as Governor Wike who expressed concern over the teeming unemployed youths in the state. His administration will ensure that Rivers youths are gainfully employed for the betterment of their future.

The rivers state Governor, Barr. Nyesom Wike has announced the employment of 7,000 youths into the Rivers State Civil Service Commission 2018/2019 this was made known to the media while declaring his decision to re-contest for election in 2019. He said, his decision to seek re-election was based on the support of the youth across the 23 local government areas of the state.

According to the Governor, other reason was the support and go-ahead which he received from women, elders, ethnic nationalities and even non-indigenes in the state.

 “Let the security agencies know that we are prepared, when they are thinking of shooting God will make them fall asleep until the elections are over and we are declared winners,” Wike said. He also vowed that business partners struggling to snatch the state for their own benefits would be defeated in 2019.

Basic Requirement for Rivers state Civil Service Recruitment 2018/2019

2. Must be above 18 years of age
3. Must have a means of identification ( voters card, drivers license, international passport, national id card etc)
4. Must have O’level result
5. University decree (an advantage)
