JAMB NIN New Policy for 2020 UTME Registration: No NIN, No JAMB Registration

Jamb 2020 UTME Registration National Identification Number (NIN) New Policy–  JAMB advises all candidates who wishes to purchase the 2020 jamb form to go and register for National Identification Number (NIN) before coming for jamb online registration.

National Identification Number (NIN), No 2020 JAMB UTME Registration

Jamb has made NIN compulsory to 2020 UTME candidates

All candidates that will sit for the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) must have the National Identification Number (NIN).

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) announced this in a series of tweets on Thursday.

The examination board urged prospective candidates to visit the nearest @nimc_ng office for their capturing.

“All candidates wishing to take the 2020 UTME must have the National Identification Number (NIN). Prospective candidates are urged to visit the nearest @nimc_ng office for their capturing.“

“The Board would ONLY register candidates with NIN. All payments on JAMB Services are made directly to the Board’s TSA.

“Please be informed that the Board frowns on any form of financial dealings between candidates and staff.

“Therefore, candidates involved in any financial transaction with a staff of the Board should notify the Board immediately and also provide any useful information about such staff for necessary action”.

Requirement for NIN Registration

Supporting Documents -Walk into the nearest NIMC Enrolment Centre with your BVN if you have one and any of the following required Original and Valid supporting documents:

  1. Old National ID Card
  2. Driver’s License
  3. Voter’s card (Temporary or Permanent)
  4. Nigerian International passport
  5. Certificate of Origin (LGA ID Letter)
  6. Attestation letter from a prominent ruler in your community
  7. Birth certificate
  8. Declaration of age
  9. Attestation letter from religious/traditional leader
  10. NHIS ID card
  11. Government staff ID card
  12. Registered/recognized private organization staff ID card
  13. School ID Card (private/public)
  14. Tax Clearance certificate
  15. Valid immigration documents

You are to visit National Identification Management Commission (NIMC) office closest to you or visit https://www.nimc.gov.ng/  for more information.
