Building on a Solid Foundation

foundation

The year is about to end, in a new year or already in a year as the case may be and a new page is about to be opened or is already opened or in any position you find yourself in, is never late to lay a good foundation for yourself. How do you lay your foundation in the year matters, because the foundation of a house matters a lot, the foundation gives a house strength, shape and without it there is no building, so it is applicable to you (man), your foundation makes you who you are.

The foundation of a two storey building is different from the foundation of a small building, just as a foundation of a live-able house is different from that of a company. Just as the bible says “By their fruit we shall know them”.

The foundation of a house is the most vital, important and technical aspect of build as it requires much attention to, that is how you as human requires technicality in planning your life this year, don’t say its late or the year is about to end, the year is just starting or we are in a quarter of the year NO, you have all the time now to lay a better foundation for you and the world.

An account from the bible that said, build your house in a solid rock “Jesus Christ” so that when the wind, storm, flood, temptation comes it will stand firm and will not be washed, blown or drown away. This account is not talking about house made with bricks or cement, but it is all pointing toward you “man” that you should equip yourself with the WORD OF GOD, the life, the truth, the way, you should be grounded with the word so that when all this temptations comes you will overcome them.

The builders

Laying a good foundation is fine, perfect, but who are your builders? The builders of a house also matters and add to the beauty of the house, there are good builders and bad builders all over the earth today. See the teachings of Apostle Paul to the Corinthians, he explained it very clearly that we should be careful of the builders

In 1 Corinthians 3:10 Paul stated it clearly “According to the grace of God which was given to me [Paul], like a wise master builder I [Paul] laid a foundation, and another [you, Corinthians] is building on it. But each man [you, Corinthians] must be careful how he builds on it. For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

It also said in verse 11 that there will be no other foundation laid outside that on that have already been laid which means once a foundation, “For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Laying a good foundation employing a good and God fearing builder you will go far and flourish in GOD….
